4 pm. Workshop, "Under the Hood with AI" by James R. Parker
When the term 'generative AI' is used, what does it really mean? Mostly it means neural networks, which is only one kind of AI methodology. How does a neural network do its job? What does 'learning' mean for an AI? Does an AI really 'steal' works from people and use them? In this workshop we'll discuss all of this and more. The goal is to allow anyone to see what a neural network does, how it is taught, and what it could learn . We will also discuss other methods for artificial intelligence and how they are used.
