Poetry from Chasia's Enchantment Expanded

By Hilda Chasia Smith

No Hatred

No hatred can overpower the longing for peace
That resides deep within our hearts.
Every child must rise from the chaos,
Breaking free from the web of evil.
We are all children,
Yearning for the gentle touch of unity.
With spirits and bodies intertwined,
We need open minds
And hearts that seek balance.
No hatred, no demoralization.
Be mindful of our teachings,
Our words, our actions.

Lift up and support those in need of kindness.
Do not incite conflict or blame those who defend
Their home and loved ones.
Wounds of the mind, body, and spirit
Shatter human dignity.
Never let displaced anger
Suppress the divine spark within.
Born of love, both divine and human,
Our world thirsts for it. Please, no hatred.
Awaken your primal love,
Choose to live, love, and heal.

Embrace the wholeness of who you truly are,
Of who we all are. When we choose the right path,
Time and again, after every conflict and war,
Supporting, rehabilitating, allowing time to grieve,
To grow, to learn trust, and to live fully.
Help heal others, declare “Never Again”
To blatant hatred, to those who seek destruction.
Let everyone learn the path to peace.
There is no peace
In the agenda of destruction.

This is why,
Long before her return to ancient, sacred lands,
She and her people,
Few in number,
But vast in contributions,
Stand for the oppressed.
Strong with many, from varied ways of life,
Faiths, and paths.

Is she perfect? No,
Like all nations, she is not.
Do her people
Deserve peace, to address their needs?
Yes, absolutely!
Her people, like many,
Pray for global peace.
May we live without hatred,
As we journey through life,
Learning greater humanity,
Love, balance, peace within and without.
For a life grounded in love, peace,
And the sacred spirit in us all.
